is a crawler-based search engine that like Teoma,
features good relevancy. Unlike Teoma, WiseNut has a large database, making it
almost as comprehensive as Google, AllTheWeb
and Inktomi. Where WiseNut falls down is
with a database has consistently been months out of date. WiseNut’s owner
LookSmart overhauled the search engine
in 2003, but the jury is still out as to whether WiseNut can bounce back and crack
the top tier.
